The Solae Company, an international soy ingredients supplier, wanted to celebrate their many patents and the people who made them possible. CannonDesign recommended KLI.
Together we identified the perfect location—a 56 foot tall open stair. We drew inspiration from the Solae logo and the soybean plant itself. The installation grows as the company’s patent numbers grow. The leaves are arranged chronologically with the older patents living at the base. Standard materials were utilized to ensure that the installation could be additive for the long-term.
