KLI collaborated with Taco Buddha, a Tex Mex-inspired restaurant and neighbor, to re-imagine their brand, website, merchandise and second restaurant location.
The new brand reflects the Southwestern New Mex Tex influence from which the founder drew much of his inspiration. It also points to TB's main attractions...uniquely constructed tacos made with unexpected ingredients inspired by cuisines from around the world, outstanding margaritas and a welcoming atmosphere. This was accomplished through the use of vivid illustration and photography complimenting their colorful and vibrant ingredients, handwritten fonts and illustrations pointing to their intentionality and care with each of their recipes, and the incorporation of their tagline “eat with peace," which evokes community and familiarity. The brand is expressed digitally and in-person to the delight of their many devotees.
