Then, Now & Next
When Formica Group was ready to relaunch two iconic patterns they looked to KLI to develop a comprehensive campaign.
The primary campaign vehicle was a pocket-sized page turner chock full of inspiration: "Then" surveyed the past; "Now" relaunched Boomerang, formerly called Skylark, and Virrvarr; and "Next" was a call to action/design contest inviting designers to submit their designs for the next classic pattern. KLI seated the jury, coordinated the judging in New York and the winner’s party a few months following at MOMA. Other launch items included giveaways and an advertising campaign.
